Surface Roughness Gauge: RTD-100

The RTD-100 Surface Roughness Gauge (Profilometer) is designed for users that require a basic gauge that can handle the rigours of a workshop. 

Applications for use include quality control, to ensure that machined and finished surfaces meet the specification and fit for purpose.  

The easy to read OLED display can be read in bright environments without light interference. The metal case provides durability and the size is compact for portability.  Also featured is an integrated probe that is protected within the casing, which makes the RTD-100 best suited for flat surfaces or large curves where there is ample clearance to fit the device.

The unit is easy to operate and can be calibrated using the included specimen. The sensitive probe traces the surface and converts the measurements into Ra or Rz.  The measuring range for Ra is 0.05µm - 10µm and Rz is 0.1µm - 50µm.
