FT series dial, pocket Fruit Penetrometer from TR Turoni, Italy. This small and very manageable tool is used to detect the ripeness and proper picking maturity of fresh fruit and vegetables in the field.

The FT series Fruit Penetrometer measures the penetration and squashing of fruit pulp using an indenter tip of specific dimension, to give one of the most accurate tests available, with the resulting pressure being measured in pounds and Kilograms.

With its compact size, the FT penetrometer can be used handheld or drill-press mounted, these penetrometers are one of the most practical and accurate Fruit-Testers available.

All penetrometers include a skin peeler and splash plate for convenient use.
